  • Vaccination can stimulate the production of antibody from our body immune system. (29)
  • Vaccination is a primary prevention. (29)

  • Adequate protection against HPC infection that can cause cervical cancer.
    • Fight against most common and aggressive virus.
    • Protect against additional type of HPV virus that also cause cancer.
  • Good immune response will produce high neutralizing antibodies level.
  • Long time protection.
  • High protection rate even to local infection area (cervix).
  • Good immunity profile/protection.
  • Affordable.

When Vaccination is best given

  • As preventive action from infection by oncogenic HPV, vaccination is best given as early as possible and can be given for girls as young as 10 years old. (29)
  • Besides, almost all women can have benefit from vaccination because:
    1. A woman is at risk of HPV infection during her life.
    2. Previous HPV infection did not always produce an immunity to protect our body from next infection. (30)
    3. Data shows the older a woman the bigger the risk of persistent HPV infection and it can trigger pre cancerous lesion becoming a cervical cancer. (31)
